This is a medium-sized village situated close to Turnhout. Not long ago, Telefacts had written that it is the greatest drug village of the country. I don't notice anything about this and think that this is a lie.
I'm studying informatics at St. Victor Institute in Turnhout, in the 5th year.
Yes I hear you thinking: 17 years old and in the 5th year? Well, last year, I was in a scientific class with 8 hours of math, and that mathematics was too heavy for me. After that, I tried a technology-sciences course but I obtained a C-certificate. That is why I made the choice to 5 informatics back at the Sint Victor Institute. I haven't regretted this choice a single second yet.
I am a musician.
In everyday life I am very involved with music. I play the piano and saxophone (alto sax). I am also a member of the fanfare "Het werk der toekomst" (the work of the future) of Beerse (you can find a link of it at the top right of this page). Currently I've been playing the piano for 9 years now and the saxophone for 3 years.
I am a member of the Scouts.
I've been a member of the Scouts of Beerse since I was six years old, I really grew up with it and I have spent every Saturday afternoon to it. Now I am in the last year as a member but I am sure that I'm going to be a monitor. After all these years that the youth movement has amused me I want to give something in return for all those great moments.
